Gonna try this yet AGAIN!

It's time to push myself. I've put so much energy into my 9 to 5 job and so many other things that I feel my progression in my artwork has slowed. At 24, I feel my artistic skill should be at a higher level. I should be drawing everyday and constantly drilling subjects that I don't have a full grasp on. My main focus at the moment is practicing human form and features and creating interesting backgrounds. I am wanting to begin work on my comic, but find myself stuck every time I go to draw something, but can't because I haven't studied it enough.

With my comic, I've decided at this time print is not an achievable option at this point. My comic will be a digital web comic. I have an overall story and two characters that I'm working with at the moment. It's time to start fleshing out the finer details. Going deeper into the story and refining my character designs. Hope you guys stick with me through this. Keeping inspiration and excitement constantly flowing through me has been tough, but when it hits it hits


On a side note:
I've been saving up for a Wacom Cintiq Companion Hybrid. I'll be placing my order on Tuesday and I can't wait to get it in my hands. My Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet has done me so well for the past six years and up to this point. Just think It's finally time for an upgrade. I can't afford nor do I have the space for a Cintiq 22 or 24HD touch so I've done tons of research and the Cintiq Hybrid is the one for me. One day I'll own one of the larger Ones. It's an ultimate goal of mine. In the mean time, I can't wait for my Hybrid!
